Hope for Oakland

Last season, the Oakland Raiders continued their 13-year streak of finishing below .500, finishing in third place in the AFC West. However, with a new head coach and young core to build around, the Raiders managed to go from a 3-13 team to a 7-9 team in just one year. After some outstanding offseason moves, it seems as though the Raiders are ready to make the leap back into playoff contention.

The 2015 season was definitely a developmental season for the Raiders: ushering in a new head coach, Jack Del Rio, and meshing a young offensive core together is not something done overnight.
