The former Midshipman looks to make an impact in Baltimore.
United States Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus’ decision to allow former Midshipmen quarterback Keenan Reynolds to play for the Baltimore Ravens while fulfilling his requirement to the Navy certainly brought smiles to the Ravens, Reynolds, and fans. However, it’s important to remember that while getting approval from the Navy was a major step in Reynolds’ transition to the pro’s, it’s just the first of many.
For starters, Reynolds is going to be transitioning from quarterback to wide receiver. Former quarterbacks Julian Edelman, Hines Ward, and Antwaan Randle El are all cases of college quarterbacks successfully transitioning to great NFL wide receivers.
