SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Texas Christian University star quarterback Trevone Boykin was arrested in San Antonio early on Thursday for striking a police officer after a bar fight, police said.
Media reports said Boykin and some teammates had been in Pat O'Brien's Bar, a popular night spot on San Antonio's Riverwalk, when patrons began harassing him.
A police report said officers were called to the bar as Boykin, 22, fought bar employees who tried to remove him. Boykin was described by police as "very aggressive and was being held back by the group that he was with.
