HOUSTON -- Texans safety Quintin Demps has been ruled out for the rest of Houston's wild-card playoff game against the Oakland Raiders with a hamstring injury.
Demps left the game early in the first half, and spent most of the second half on the sideline with the injury.
The veteran led all safeties in the NFL with his career-high six interceptions during the regular season and was second in the NFL.
Demps was named the NFL AFC Defensive Player of the month after he had four interceptions, 22 tackles and six passes defended in the last five games of the regular season.
