The Cowboys had one wide receiver watching practice on Thursday when another one had to be helped off the field by trainers after a collision with a pair of defensive backs.
Terrance Williams hurt his elbow near the end of the team’s final minicamp practice and went back into the locker room for further evaluation. Nick Eatman of the team’s website reports that X-rays were taken and that they came back negative for a serious injury.
That’s good news for Williams, who has several weeks to recover and return to the field to continue what wide receivers coach Derek Dooley said has been an excellent offseason.
