Four months after signing with the New England Patriots, veteran defensive tackle Terrance Knighton has been cut by the team.
Knighton confirmed the move on Twitter:

ESPN's Mike Reiss noted that Knighton didn't play in New England's preseason game Friday against the Carolina Panthers, seeming to signal the move was coming.
