As ever, the Cleveland Browns remain something of a sideshow, with a new report claiming that teams calling with trade inquiries were left unsure of who was calling the shots within the organization.
The Browns were definitely open for business at the trade deadline, and Joe Thomas and Paul Kruger drew interest around the league. However, teams calling about them weren’t sure who was making the final decisions, according to NFL.com’s Albert Breer.
One team reportedly spoke to general manager Ray Farmer to talk a trade, but Farmer said he had to consult with others within the organization.
