Jackson, who has backed up Wilson the last two years, is re-signing with the team, according to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports.
The Seahawks were down to just two quarterbacks on the roster, Wilson and R.J. Archer, after moving B.J. Daniels from quarterback to receiver.
Jackson was the Seahawks’ starter in 2011 before spending a year in Buffalo in 2012. He returned in 2013 and has played only in garbage time while backing up Wilson, but the Seahawks’ coaches have indicated that they like the way Jackson works. And now he’s back to work in Seattle for another season.
