It's not as simple as one might think comparing the respective situations surrounding former tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins and newly signed wideout Josh Huff – at least to coach Dirk Koetter.
Seferian-Jenkins was waived by the team in Sept. following his arrest for a DUI charge. The 23-year-old was claimed by the Jets, and has been used sparingly in two games. Prior to the latest arrest, the former second-round pick was kicked out of practice during the summer.
When Seferian-Jenkins was released, general manager Jason Licht said it was "the right decision" at the time.
