The NFL announced Tuesday that it would be introducing the Super Bowl Opening Night Fueled by Gatorade to its schedule of events preceding the Super Bowl, replacing the traditional media day held on the Tuesday before the Super Bowl.
The event, which will be Monday, Feb. 1, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California, starting at 8 p.m. ET, will mirror the traditional format of media day, with fans sitting in the stands while members of the media interview the players and coaches involved in the Super Bowl.
The NFL Network will cover the proceedings.
