Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith is looking for some more help after the team lost Torrey Smith in free agency. The selection of Breshad Perriman in the first round of the 2015 NFL draft may help, but it appears that Smith has his eyes set on another Ravens rookie.
Speaking up about undrafted rookie receiver DeAndre Carter, the veteran had this to say:
“I like (that) he’s hungry,” Smith said, via the team’s official website. “I just love his attitude. I see a young Randall Cobb in him.”
Carter, a former standout at Sacramento State, was not drafted earlier this month in large part due to his physical features.
