After lengthy contract negotiations, both quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb signed long-term extensions with the Dallas Cowboys prior to the team's 33-17 season-opening win over the Cleveland Browns.
It looked hairy at times, with Lamb holding out of training camp before signing on Aug. 27 and Prescott's deal not getting done until hours before the Cowboys kicked off in Cleveland. But they got done.
In the aftermath of those contracts, Cowboys COO and co-owner Stephen Jones was asked by Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer if the team was ever frustrated. He had this to say in response.
