Carolina Panthers wide receiver Stephen Hill was reportedly cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in Concord, North Carolina.
Allison Latos of WSOC-TV reports that the Concord Police Department confirmed the citation. Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer noted the Panthers had no immediate comment on the situation.
The incident comes one day before the Panthers are scheduled to start training camp. No further information about the stop was released.
Hill, a second-round draft pick by the New York Jets in 2012, didn't see any NFL action last season.
