While Stan Kroenke and his Rams are out in Los Angeles flirting with celebrities and posing for pictures under the Hollywood sign, officials back home are digging between the couch cushions.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the Missouri Development Finance Board approved $15 million in tax credits this year for the proposed riverfront stadium in St. Louis, the first down payment toward $50 million from the agency over three years.
“There are ample protections for our investment,” board chairwoman Marie Carmichael said. “All the ducks have to be in order, all the stars have to be aligned.
