Two Texas high school football players said that a coach whom they did not identify had told them to strike the referee Robert Watts during a game because of missed calls that had hurt the team. Appearing on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Michael Moreno and Victor Rojas, the players for Jay High School in San Antonio, also repeated claims that Watts had used racial slurs, which he has denied.
