PITTSBURGH -- The Steelers are expected to trade for Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Allen Robinson II, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Tuesday.
For the move to be official, Robinson must pass a physical, sources told Schefter. The Rams have already paid Robinson $5 million of his $15 million guaranteed for the 2023 season, and the Steelers are expected to pay a portion of the remaining $10 million, the sources said.
Robinson, 29, would become another experienced player acquired by the Steelers this offseason. A team that typically builds through the draft, the Steelers have been aggressive in free agency under new general manager Omar Khan, signing veterans like cornerback Patrick Peterson, a 12-season veteran, and guard Isaac Seumalo.
