The Seattle Seahawks have reached an agreement with head coach Pete Carroll on an extension through 2019, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Carroll's deal comes on the heels of an extension for Seattle general manager John Schneider. Schneider's new deal is for five years and is expected to place him among the highest-paid GMs in the NFL, a source told ESPN's John Clayton.
The contracts of both Carroll and Schneider were expected to expire at the end of the upcoming NFL season.
