The NFL still is mulling a potential multigame suspension for San Francisco 49ers linebacker Reuben Foster, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Wednesday.
Foster entered a plea of no contest to misdemeanor weapons possession on Wednesday and was sentenced to two years probation, 232 hours of community service and $235 in fines. He is not allowed to have guns during the course of his probation.
The charge for possession of an assault rifle was tied to the Feb. 11 incident at his home in Los Gatos, California. Foster had two felony charges related to domestic violence against him dismissed by Santa Clara County (California) Judge Nona L.
