Jim Bob Cooter is expected to be named offensive coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler on Monday.
Cooter, 38, was previously an offensive coordinator with the Detroit Lions for three seasons (2016-18). He took over the role on an interim basis in 2015 after the Lions fired Joe Lombardi during the season.
Last season, Cooter was the Jacksonville Jaguars' passing-game coordinator. The previous season, he was a consultant with the Philadelphia Eagles where he was on a staff that included then-offensive coordinator Shane Steichen, who was hired as the Colts' new head coach last week.
