Seattle Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham could miss the team’s season opener as he continues to recover from surgery to repair a torn patellar tendon in his right leg.
Head coach Pete Carroll said during an interview on 950 KJR-AM in Seattle that Graham’s rehabilitation is going well, but he is still unsure if the tight end will be on the field for Week 1.
“I’m not calling that yet,” Carroll said. “Not until we really cut him loose in practice, which next week is going to be a really important week for him. He had a great week this week.
