With Tarvaris Jackson hobbled with a high-ankle sprain, the Seattle Seahawks needed an additional arm in training camp.
A team official confirmed Monday night that the Seahawks are expected to sign former Kansas State quarterback Jake Waters on Tuesday.
Waters had a tryout with the team in the past couple weeks and was a teammate of third-round draft pick Tyler Lockett at Kansas State.
With Jackson sidelined for a few weeks, the only backup to Russell Wilson on the roster Monday was R.J. Archer.
