The Seattle Seahawks advanced to the Divisional Round of the playoffs with a 10-9 wild-card playoff win over the Minnesota Vikings in one of the coldest games in NFL history on Sunday.
Vikings kicker Blair Walsh missed a 27-yard field goal attempt with 22 seconds left to seal the win for the Seahawks. The laces on the football were facing inward when Walsh attempted his kick.
With the win, the Seahawks will play the NFC South champion Carolina Panthers on Jan. 17.
The Vikings trailed 9-0 in the third quarter before Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson connected on a 35-yard pass to a wide open Tyler Lockett to help set up a 3-yard touchdown pass to Doug Baldwin.
