Chandler Hints at Retirement

Chandler's wife—Alissa Chandler—shared a message from the veteran tight end in which he revealed that knee surgery will keep him out for all of 2016 and "probably" force him into retirement:

The New England Patriots signed Chandler last offseason as depth behind superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski, but his production was fairly limited as he caught just 23 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns.
