Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley isn't going to let revenge be his overriding motivation when he faces his old team, the New York Giants on Sunday.
Barkley told reporters he doesn't want to be driven to create an "F U" moment. He related how that was his mindset when he was coming back from a torn ACL and his performance suffered as a result. He added that his main focus is coming out with a win rather than his individual production.
The two-time Pro Bowler nonetheless probably will have a bit of a chip on his shoulder after the Giants showed they valued him but only so much by refraining from giving him the long-term extension he wanted.
