Our long national nightmare is over. Well, maybe not, but for now we will not be subjected to Taysom Hill as a starting NFL quarterback. Sean Payton has made the better move and named Jameis Winston as his starting quarterback going into Week 1. As I've said many times, the "Jameis sucks" narrative is based on one outlier year with 30 interceptions in 2019. The rest of his career, Winston has been a slightly above-average starter:
 2.9% DVOA (16th)
 3.1% DVOA (17th)
 11.2% DVOA (12th)
 7.6% DVOA (13th)
 -6.
