The Seattle Seahawks ended the San Francisco 49ers' perfect season by upsetting them 27-24 on Monday night at Levi's Stadium.
San Francisco jumped out to a 10-0 lead before Seattle scored 21 unanswered points. By late in the fourth quarter, the 49ers had tied it at 21.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson responded with an 11-play, 47-yard drive that culminated in a 46-yard field goal by Jason Myers to put Seattle up 24-21 with 1:48 left to go. Niners quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was able to lead them down the field, leaving just enough time for McLaughlin to hit a 47-year field goal to send the contest to overtime.
