Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was recently seen riding a scooter without a helmet, but Ron Rivera isn't worried about it, despite his quarterback remaining in concussion protocol.
"I'm not going to worry about that," Rivera said with a laugh on Tuesday, according to ESPN. "The bottom line is he's an adult. We'll go from there."
Newton missed Monday's loss to the Buccaneers with the concussion he sustained the week before against the Falcons. He stayed off the field the entire week and was advised by doctors not to attend Monday's matchup because the excitement of the game could have negatively impacted his health.
