NEW ORLEANS — N.F.L. Commissioner Roger Goodell said Wednesday that he did not expect imminent changes to the league’s disciplinary process and that any revisions would be made as part of the next collective bargaining agreement.
“We’ve been talking about this for years, and we’ve made changes to our disciplinary process, and we’ll continue to see how we can do it better and more efficiently, certainly with results that people feel better about,” Goodell said after appearing at the Sports and Fitness Industry Association conference.
Goodell said he would discuss potential revisions to the league’s disciplinary code with the DeMaurice Smith, the executive president of the N.
