Roger Goodell dodges question about false PSI report

Roger Goodell finally addressed ESPN’s false report that 11 of 12 New England Patriots footballs tested at halftime of the AFC Championship Game were two PSI under the required limit.

The NFL commissioner’s explanation was quite unsatisfactory. The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin tweeted out the entire exchange, which occurred at the NFL quarterly meeting in Chicago:

I asked Goodell why the NFL didn't correct the ESPN report from January. Here's his answer. Can you make sense of it? http://t.co/IhVxt0JFdR

So, if we can make sense of that answer, Goodell is claiming the NFL was finished making public statements about Deflategate once Wells was handed the investigation Jan.
