Rob Gronkowski suffers knee injury against Broncos

Rob Gronkowski was carted off the field with what appeared to be a serious right knee injury towards the end of Sunday’s Patriots-Broncos game.

The Patriots were leading 21-17 against Denver with under three minutes left when Gronk was hurt. He had just caught a pass to give the Pats a first down, and Tom Brady went to him again. The pass was an incompletion and Gronk’s right knee was blown up by Darian Stewart:

Gronk seemed to be in a lot of pain as he was pounding the ground around him.
