Richard Sherman explains sideline outburst vs. Falcons

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman explained why he reacted so strongly around teammates on the sidelines of the Seahawks' 26–24 win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, according to Sheil Kapadia of ESPN.com.

Sherman noted there was miscommunication on an audible that was called during a play, and Kelcie McCray, who was filling in for an injured Kam Chancellor, missed the message. Julio Jones scored a 36-yard touchdown and Sherman erupted on the sidelines.

"It was just a miscommunication," Sherman said. "[McCray] hasn't been in the defense that long. We tried to make a new adjustment, and it was just a miscommunication.
