Richard Sherman criticizes the difference between fines imposed on teams and players

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman rose to prominence three years ago by getting in the face of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady after the second-year defensive player’s team took down the defending AFC Champions in Seattle. Now, Sherman has Brady’s back.

Sherman believes that the NFL’s punishment of Brady is disproportionate to the punishment imposed on the Patriots, given that the team will pay $1 million and Brady, if suspended four games will personally lose $1.8 million.

“You’re fining players more than you’re fining organizations?” Sherman told Jarrett Bell of USA Today.
