It’s vaguely news when players under contract don’t show up for the start of —say it with me — voluntary workouts.
When players without contracts don’t show up, not so much.
So it was little surprise when Browns safety Tashaun Gipson didn’t show up for the start of workouts in Cleveland today, per Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Gipson is a restricted free agent who was tendered at the second round level ($2.356 million), though he would have obviously preferred a bigger deal after making the Pro Bowl last year.
