Rex Ryan has never been afraid to go against the grain, which is why it’s not really shocking that he believes Richie Incognito can be a leader for the Buffalo Bills in 2015.
The head coach has been pleasantly surprised by the offensive guard since bringing Incognito aboard this offseason and says, “He has exceeded my expectations.”
Ryan believes the experiences Incognito has been through aren’t as much of a detriment as most people would think.
“He’s been through a lot, but he’s seen a lot, he’s had years of experience in this league and things like that, but just because of his so called past, doesn’t mean that he can’t be a leader,” Ryan said (h/t syracuse.
