Rex and Rob Ryan are closer than ever these days, coaching together with the Buffalo Bills and supporting each other off the field.
After Rob Ryan had a near-fatal encounter with a lap band—a device placed on a stomach intended to slow food consumption and eventually reduce weight—his twin brother Rex decided to remove his own lap band. According to Mark Cannizzaro of the New York Post, the Bills head coach had an arthroscopic procedure to take out the device.
"I told him, we’ll figure this out together (without the Lap Band)," Rex Ryan said.
