With the largest television audience of the year likely to be on Feb. 9 for the Kansas City Chiefs-Philadelphia Eagles matchup in Super Bowl 59, Fox is cashing in on advertising sales for the big game.

Per Brian Steinberg of Variety, Fox Corp. has sold at least 10 ad spots during the Super Bowl for more than $8 million.

Fox Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch told reporters in November the network sold out its Super Bowl ad inventory at "what we believe are record pricing."

Deadline's Dade Hayes noted at the time of Murdoch's comments that the price for a 30-second spot was "believed to be north of $7 million" but that it "surged even higher in the intervening months.
