Report: Ronald Leary to have MRI on back

La’El Collins made a memorable debut for the Cowboys against the Chargers last weekend with a pancake block highlighting a strong overall game for the rookie.

Collins made those plays at left guard, where he replaced starter Ronald Leary when the Cowboys put the second string into the game. Collins is in line for work with the first team this week, though.

Leary has been bothered by a sore back and Todd Archer of ESPNDallas.com reports that he’ll have an MRI to form a fuller diagnosis of what’s bothering him.
