Robert Griffin III isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, and the alleged tension over him within the Washington Redskins organization is overstated, according to a new report.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Washington has no plans to shop or trade Griffin before the November 3 trade deadline. According to La Canfora’s sources, general manager Scot McCloughan hasn’t even thought about trading the fourth-year quarterback, and team management doesn’t view him as a source of problems within the organization.
Contrary to another recent report, La Canfora cites numerous team sources telling him there is no tension between Griffin and current starter Kirk Cousins, and that the two appear to have a perfectly good working relationship.
