It appears James Jones is on his way out in Oakland.
Once a centerpiece of their free-agent class, Oakland Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie informed the former Packers standout of his impending release over the weekend, according to a CSN Bay Area report.
In one season with the Raiders, Jones had a ton of targets (112) and a solid number of receptions (73) but hasn't come close to replicating the 14-touchdown campaign he had with the Packers back in 2012 that helped vault him into free agency.
