Report: New York Jets cut 2013 first-round CB Dee Milliner from injured reserve

Jets 2013 first-round corner Dee Milliner has been cut from injured reserve, effectively finishing his career with the team, ESPN's Field Yates first reported on Twitter Wednesday.

Milliner was waived by the team Sept. 3 prior to the season, and he then reverted to injured reserve when no one claimed him.

The club has yet to officially confirm his release, but Milliner once touted himself as the league's "best corner" in 2014.

Milliner, 25, appeared in 21 of a possible 48 games in his career and ends a disappointing run with the team.
