The Cleveland Browns and wide receiver Jarvis Landry are closing in on a five-year "monster extension," Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Thursday.
According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, the extension would pay Landry roughly $15 million per season.
Landry, who Cleveland acquired from the Miami Dolphins for a 2018 fourth-round pick and 2019 seventh-round selection, previously signed the franchise tag that was scheduled to pay out $15.9 million in 2018. If he doesn't agree to a new deal, he would be able to test unrestricted free agency next spring.
