The Miami Dolphins and veteran running back Frank Gore reached an agreement Thursday on a contract for next season.
Per Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald and NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Gore's deal with the Dolphins is for one year.
Gore is a limited playmaking threat at this stage of his career. He averaged less than four yards per carry each of the past three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts and hasn't had a single run over 22 yards since 2015.
The 34-year-old rusher remains a stabilizing force in the backfield, though.
