Super Bowl LIX is more than nine months away, but Fox is reportedly already laying down parameters for ad sales related to the big game.
According to Brian Steinberg of Variety, multiple sources have indicated that Fox is seeking at least $7 million for each 30-second ad that will air during next year's Super Bowl.
Steinberg noted that it marks a slight uptick from this past Super Bowl, as Paramount Global's initial asking price for 30-second commercials was between $6.5 million and $7 million.
A buying executive questioned Steinberg if advertisers would be "chomping at the bit" to quickly purchase a Super Bowl LIX ad at such a high asking price, although it can be argued that Fox has some bargaining power on its side.
