Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's hip injury is not expected to be a long-term issue.
Appearing on Monday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, ESPN's Adam Schefter said the understanding is Tagovailoa will "be ready to go" for the 2025 season.
Tagovailoa's health was a major storyline for the Dolphins at the end of the regular season, as he missed the Week 17 game against the Cleveland Browns and Week 18 game against the New York Jets with a hip injury.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported ahead of the game against the Jets that the hip injury was "affecting the surrounding muscles and therefore his strength and mobility, along with leaving him vulnerable to further injury.
