Report: Dolphins owner Stephen Ross part of a group trying to buy F1

Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is trying to add a little speed to his lineup.

But this time, it’s not on the football field.

According to Financial Times, Ross is teaming up with a group of Qatari investors to purchase controlling interest of Formula One.

The deal is estimated between $7 billion and $8 billion, which would buy at little more than 61 Ndamukong Suhs.

According to the report, Ross’s RSE Ventures wants to buy 35.5 percent of the company which controls the racing circuit.

Ross is one of the richest of a group of very rich men (NFL owners), and his purchase of Formula 1 could provide a push for the sport in the United States.
