Just as the Arizona Cardinals are getting their veteran quarterback Carson Palmer back to full speed, the team suffered another blow after fourth-year receiver Michael Floyd broke three fingers on his left hand during Wednesday’s practice.
As a result, Floyd will reportedly miss six weeks weeks while he heals. This will almost certainly count him out for the the team’s season opener in Week 1 when the Cardinals play the New Orleans Saints on September 13.

The injury is definitely a setback for the Cardinals offense which will have to rely more heavily on third-year wideout John Brown and veteran staple Larry Fitzgerald.
