Johnny Manziel had an incident with girlfriend Colleen Crowley two weeks ago that led to a police response that got the quarterback in headlines for being in trouble. If some with the Cleveland Browns reportedly had their way, Manziel would have already split up with Crowley.
According to a report from CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora, some within the Browns recognized the relationship was turbulent and were hoping for a separation.
There have been concerns about the sometimes turbulent nature of that relationship within the Browns hierarchy, sources said, and some have been hoping there would be separation for quite some time.
