Report: Ahmad Bradshaw to be suspended one game for substance abuse

Ahmad Bradshaw pleaded no contest to a marijuana possession charge in May. That result will keep him from being available to play during the opening week of the NFL season.

According to Howard Balzer of lockerdome.com, Bradshaw will be suspended for the first game of the 2015 regular season for a violation of the league’s substance-abuse policy.

Bradshaw is currently a free agent and could serve the suspension while unemployed.

Bradshaw rushed for 425 yards on 90 carries and caught 38 passes for 300 yards and six touchdowns in 10 games for the Indianapolis Colts last season.
