According to Kareem Copeland of the Washington Post, Nicholson’s lawyer said the charges from a December incident were dropped because of insufficient evidence.
Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk noted Nicholson was arrested last year when he was caught on video hitting a man. He was placed on the non-football illness list following the arrest. Nicholson played 14 games during the 2018 campaign.
