Redskins' Montae Nicholson's Assault Charges Dropped over Insufficient Evidence

Washington safety Montae Nicholson is no longer facing misdemeanor assault charges.

According to Kareem Copeland of the Washington Post, Nicholson’s lawyer said the charges from a December incident were dropped because of insufficient evidence.

Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk noted Nicholson was arrested last year when he was caught on video hitting a man. He was placed on the non-football illness list following the arrest. Nicholson played 14 games during the 2018 campaign.
