Realistic Expectations for Every Washington Redskins Rookie

A draft-day steal leads an exciting batch of rookies set to make a positive impact for the Washington Redskins in the 2017 NFL season.

When the team landed dynamic defensive lineman Jonathan Allen 17th-overall in the first round, the Burgundy and Gold got a difference-maker from Day 1. Allen won't be the only rookie to contribute right away, though.

A second-round outside linebacker and a running back taken in Round 4 can eventually force their way into starting roles. Both positions need an infusion of fresh talent, and there are enough question marks about the incumbents at each spot to clear the way for a first-year prospect.
